The R940xa uses a combination of four cpus and four Gpus to deliver consistent high performance for demanding applications. R940xa allows you to dynamically scale capacity and performance as your business-critical workloads change, including: • Maximize performance with Intel ® Xeon ® expandable processors, up to 112 cores. • Choose from up to four double-width Gpus or up to eight FPgas to speed up applications. • Supports large data sets of up to 48 DIMMs (12 of which can be NVDIMM) and up to 6TB memory. • Expand local capacity with up to 32 2.5-inch HDDS/SSDS and up to four direct-connected NVMe drives. • Connect external devices with up to 12 PCIe slots for fast expansion.
